Let’s disentangle your worth from your to-do list and finally take care of you.

All your life, you’ve been the “strong one.” You’ve thrived on being the person others can rely on: the one who gets things done, solves the problems no one else can, and keeps it all together. Now, though, you look at your life and realize there’s virtually no room left for you—and who exactly is that, anyway?

As worried as you are that you’ll be letting others down, you’re recognizing you simply can’t continue doing things the way you always have. If something doesn’t change, something is going to fall apart, and you’re thinking it might be you.

Many of my clients have spent their lives putting others first—whether due to early responsibilities in childhood, high-achieving careers, or the drive to maintain perfect standards. My clients often push themselves to the point of exhaustion, driven by the belief that they must do everything perfectly on their own. This relentless pursuit often leads them to minimize their own worth, achievements, and emotions, leaving them feeling over-committed, burnt out, resentful, and alone.

I work best with those who are ready to do the hard work and dig in to exploring what may be keeping them stuck, who embrace the therapeutic process with curiosity, and are ready to be honest with themselves, and make a change so they can shift from surviving to thriving.

Through our work, I want you to learn to reclaim your time, energy, and identity as someone who is “enough” as you are now.

Spoiler alert: I’m not the 1950s version of a therapist asking how things make you feel. I’m here to help you understand all the different pieces of your identity and experience, point out patterns you may not have seen on your own, and gently challenge you on your bullshit when you need it. It’s an honor that you choose to open yourself up to me, and I don’t take that privilege lightly.

My approach is focused first on meeting you where you are—it’s only once I understand you and your goals that we can decide what steps to take next.

This isn’t a cookie-cutter experience; it’s about assessing what’s going on, what you want to get rid of, and what you want to install into your life.

I hold a PhD in Marriage & Family Therapy, with a master’s degree in the same field as well as a master’s degree in Psychology, with an emphasis in Mediation & Conflict Resolution. My extensive background includes an internship at a transitional living facility for adolescents, work at a college campus clinic, experience in a psychiatry practice, and training at UT Southwestern Medical Center Family Studies Center. Since starting my private practice in 2018, I have become certified in EMDR, trained in Brainspotting, and am a Certified Grief Educator. Additionally, I serve as a Texas state supervisor, guiding other therapists in their professional development.

I want you to walk away from therapy being proud of the person you have become: knowing your values, your boundaries, and what you need to do to continue living as your favorite version of you.
