Meet The Therapists of North Texas Family Therapy

You’ve spent so much of your life trying to be what others wanted you to be.

Now, you’re not really sure how to be yourself.

Though you want close, authentic connections with the people you care about, where you feel truly seen and understood, the reality of the relationships in your life seem to fall just a tad short. It’s like you only matter—at work, to your friends, and in your family—if you’re solving problems, giving solutions, being productive and doing what’s expected of you (which is A LOT)...all without complaint.

On the outside, it might look like you’re able to do *all the things* without breaking a sweat. You’ve always been seen as the “strong” one, and it seems like you have it all together. But on the inside, you feel like a bit of a hot mess, with a chaotic life that’s far from what you’d hoped for or imagined for yourself. And when you see how wonderful everyone else’s lives look on social media, you wonder if you’re the only one who doesn’t have it all figured out.

Take a breath. We’re in this together now.

Our approach

Helping you embody your truest self to create meaningful change.

Therapy with us is…

  • You’ll never have to worry about being met with critical looks for choices you’ve made, how you dress, or anything else.

  • We care about your progress, which is why we’ll always approach this work with compassion, but also hold you accountable to the goals we set together.

  • We wholeheartedly believe you are capable of creating meaningful change in your life, and we want to give you the support you need to believe that, too!

  • We’re people, not robots. So, we’ll show up to sessions as ourselves and encourage you to do the same.

  • It’s safe to be honest here! That’s why, whenever we get the sense that you’re holding back or putting on a brave face for us, we’ll gently call you on it so we can get to the bottom of what’s going on.

  • We want to really know and understand you. Together, we’ll build a relationship that allows you to experience what healthy, transparent connections feel like.

How it works

01

take the leap.

Click here to schedule a free consultation. Our administrative team will ask you a few questions about what’s bringing you in to match you with a therapist that suits your needs and goals. If you feel this therapist is a good fit for you, we’ll get your first appointment scheduled.

01

02

take care.

In your first few sessions, you and your therapist will identify your goals, where you’re struggling, and what support systems you currently have available to you. You’ll go over what’s going on in your life, and what you think is keeping you from living the life you want. Your therapist will always meet you with compassion and curiosity, and help you learn tools and skills that will allow you to better care for yourself along this journey.

02

03

take action.

Gain the confidence and communication skills to implement what you learn in therapy into your life and watch things begin to fall into place. It may feel uncomfortable to make these changes at first, but know that your therapist will be there to check in, cheer you on, and celebrate your progress the whole way through.
