Helping you come home to yourself.

Some days, it feels like you’re barely holding it together. The demands of life—parenting, work, relationships—can pile up until you’re left feeling overstimulated, anxious, and unsure where to even begin. You’ve done a lot of things to try to change this cycle, but the disconnection from yourself and those you care about only grows. Maybe you’ve been running on empty for so long that you don’t know how to fill your own cup anymore. You’ve become everything to everyone else and left nothing for yourself. Deep down, you know it’s time to try something different. You just need a place to start.

In therapy, we’ll work together to untangle what’s weighing you down and create space to breathe again. I specialize in supporting women, parents, families, teens, and couples as they navigate the messy, beautiful complexities of life. As a member of the Black mom community myself, I also love the opportunity to create space for the overwhelmed and anxious mother to de-stress and implement self-care and self-love into her daily life.

Maybe you’re caught in unhelpful generational or family cycles, relationship struggles, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the constant chaos and uncertainty of life. Know that our work will always be grounded in meeting you where you are with compassion, curiosity, and authenticity.

We’ll focus on reconnecting with your true self so you can show up in the ways that matter most and that allow you to thrive in all capacities of your life. I’m here to help you uncover what balance looks like for you, what you need right now, and how to take manageable steps forward. Along the way, we’ll integrate tools like mindfulness, breathwork, and somatic practices to help you stay grounded in the moment. This can help you with getting things done, but more importantly, it can help you reclaim your sense of calm and clarity, even when life feels uncertain.

Therapy with me is a partnership.

I believe in building a strong relationship where you feel accepted, seen, and supported as your authentic self. Whether we’re working through past wounds, addressing the heaviest emotions in the here and now, or crafting solutions to move forward, you’ll have a safe, non-judgmental space to explore, process, and grow.

I’ve always been fascinated by how the mind works, which led me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Tarleton State University. My time as an educator deepened my understanding of authentic relationships, continuous learning, and development, and I hold a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from West Texas A&M University. Now, as an MFT Counselor-in-Training at Lamar University, I’ve found my true calling: helping others heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves and their loved ones.

With my background in education and passion for understanding how the mind and body work together, I bring a holistic approach to our sessions. I’m trained in mindfulness, somatic integration, and narrative therapy, and I weave these approaches into our work to help you heal not just your mind, but your whole self. My journey into counseling is rooted in my own experience of learning to embrace the process of healing—and I’m here to root for yours.

If you’re ready to start giving yourself the grace, care, and attention you deserve, let’s take the next step together. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. This is a space curated specifically for you.
